Marlyne Serratos wins ACS Environmental Chemistry Undergraduate Award


Marlyne Serratos, '19, biology, has won an American Chemical Society Division of Environmental Chemistry 2019 Undergraduate Award for her research on method development for single-particle analysis of aerosols using atomic force microscopy. She applied this method to size-resolved marine aerosols collected at Skidaway Island, Georgia, and presented her work at the national American Geophysical Union meeting in December 2018. She is the third GGC student to win this prestigious honor.
