The University System of Georgia (USG) invited GGC's Dr. Binh Tran, assistant professor of information technology and a GGC Top Claw recipient, to submit an essay describing a classroom practice or pedagogy that he uses to engage students.

USG published the article titled, “Peer Instructional Review Sessions,” in the, Engaged Student Learning: Essays on Best Practices in the University System of Georgia, Volume 1, 2019, e-book.

According to the USG website, the book recognizes the excellence of all individuals who had been nominated for one of the prestigious Regents’ Awards for Teaching Excellence, the USG’s highest recognition of exemplary teaching.
