Dr. Alvina Atkinson elected Southeast regional VP of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges

Dr. Alvina Atkinson, professor of mathematics, was elected as the Southeast regional vice president of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC). She will serve a two-year term and will act as liaison to the AMATYC executive board for affiliates in eight states.

GGC’s School of Business accounting graduate wins Aprio Accounting Case Competition




 

Temiloluwa “Temi” Awe, ’20, business, was on one of three teams that won the 2020 Aprio Accounting Case Competition. After interviewing with Aprio, LLC at the National Association of Black Accountants' 2020 Virtual Student Conference, she was awarded an internship and the opportunity to participate in the competition.
