Retablos as a methodological approach for reflecting on my identity and my purpose,” at the 2022 American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting in San Diego, California.

Dr. Pamela Anderson, associate professor of exercise science, recently completed the second in a series of lab manuals focused on clinical and applied physiologic assessment in exercise. "Exercise Physiology: Protocols in Exercise Testing, Volume 2" was released in May. Volume one, "Exercise Physiology: The Physiology of Exercise Testing," was co-written with Dr. Lauren Tapp, associate professor of exercise science, and released in 2017. Both volumes are available from Kendal Hunt Publishing.

Tonya DeGeorge, instructor of mathematics, was awarded a $6,000 continuous grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for a calculus course. The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. DeGeorge’s colleagues for this grant are Dr. Katherine Pinzon, professor of mathematics, and Dr. Joshua Roberts, associate professor of mathematics.

Dr. Rabia Shahbaz, assistant professor of mathematics, was awarded a $30,000 transformation grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for a precalculus course. The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. The project will save GGC students about $78,400. Shahbaz’s colleagues for this grant are, Dr. Jayme Curry Savage, associate professor of mathematics; Angi Lively, instructor of mathematics; Dr. Ekaterina Nathanson, associate professor of mathematics, and Sarah Park, instructor of mathematics.

Dr. Umar Khokhar, assistant professor of information technology, and Dr. Binh Tran, associate professor of information technology, were awarded a $10,240 transformation grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for a physical science in robotics course. The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. The project will save GGC students about $34,800.

Jennifer Hurst-Kennedy, Shoshana Katzman and Jennell Talley, all associate professors of biology.

The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. The project will save GGC students about $78,450. Chen’s colleagues for this grant are Drs. Sherita Moses and Lijun Pang, both assistant professors of physics, and Dr. Qing Shao, associate professor of physics.
