When an event is requested on Interim President Walker’s calendar, please supply as much information as you have at this time, keeping us posted on any changes.
To request that the president attend or speak at your event, please complete the Event Attendance Request form. Due to Interim President Walker's many professional obligations, a 30-day notice is recommended so that we may consider your request and properly prepare for your event.
Internal requests must be routed through appropriate vice president prior to submission.
Registered Student Organizations (RSO) must coordinate with their program advisor prior to submission.
On occasion, pressing College business and responsibilities demand the immediate and unscheduled attention of the president. If this occurs, every attempt will be made to have another College official represent GGC at your event. We recognize and apologize for any inconveniences it may cause.
Prior Approval Promotional Considerations
Press releases, advertisements, invitations, programs, printed materials, etc., that include Interim President Walker's name or indicate her attendance at an event must be reviewed and approved by the Office of the Public Relations before being distributed.
The proper use of the president's name is as follows: Interim President Mary Beth Walker, Ph.D.
