The School of Science and Technology offers summer enrichment programs – GGC STEM Academy – for rising 6th through 9th grade students. Each program is facilitated and taught by GGC faculty, staff and students.

Select from three program themes – mathematics, information technology and science – where program activities benefit students by connecting math, technology and science to other disciplines through real-world interdisciplinary problems. Students are also introduced to the college environment through daily lunches in the dining hall and a campus tour.

Why this age group?

This age group is critical to the future of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines because their curiosity and motivation are at a peak.
