The Grizzly Administrative Professionals (GAP) mentor program is designed to uphold the values of Georgia Gwinnett College while creating an atmosphere of trust, belonging, understanding, support and encouragement for a diverse work environment. It strives to create a culture where learning and the sharing of knowledge becomes part of the daily fabric rather than a mandatory task, shortens the learning curve and heightens productivity.

Sharon Lasch

Through the GAP program, I chose to apply for the mentorship program. I have been a mentee since late August and it has been an amazing experience. It is a commitment which requires some homework, but I have been rewarded with a small group setting, fun and thoughtful workshops, professional and personal development and the building of a trusting one-on-one relationship with my mentor. It’s a two-way street where we learn from each other and has definitely been worth the time and effort.
I am proud to be part of GAP and look forward to enhancing my current relationships, building new ones and further developing my skills and knowledge. Hopefully, each administrative professional will seize the opportunity to experience all that GAP has to offer. The only requirement is the thirst for developing yourself personally and professionally and enjoying comradery among your peers.
