The GGC music faculty are excited to welcome Bichos Vivos to campus! Bichos Vivos is a six-piece band that plays forró music. This is a genre of music traditionally associated with northeastern Brazil, and is identifiable by the use of the sanfona (accordion), zabumba (bass drum), and triangle. The lyrics focus on universal struggles with work, life, and love. Bichos Vivos' performance at GGC will also include a samba groove, a bossa nova song, a capoeira chant, and popular songs.
The concert is free and open to the public.
