Students from Cultural Geography (GEOG 3340) will present findings, commentary, and data on happiness/well-being from several specific places around the world.
This session, a part of International Education Week (IEW) will explain how happiness measures, definitions, and conceptualizations vary by geographic location on a global scale. Each group will present findings based upon an assigned region and suggest one or two specific pieces of wisdom that they argue should be incorporated into American cultural practices to increase levels of happiness among those living in this country in the 21st century.
Questions, comments, and spirited discussion to follow!
