Outdoor Adventures offers a variety of programs, events, trips and clinics throughout the year. Enhance your college experience with challenging and exciting activities in the great outdoors.
These excursions range from two to seven days. Past trips have included canoeing in the Suwannee River, backpacking through the Appalachian Mountains and overnight camping trips. These trips require a higher level of activity and a larger time commitment. On an adventure trip, you may be learning more advanced skills such as kayak rescues, wet exits, dry-packing techniques and proper equipment set-up and use. Prerequisites may be required, which will be included on the event descriptions. You must be prepared to attend all training and information sessions associated with the trip.
Rock Climbing Clinics and Day Events
These trips have something for everyone, from the beginner to the professional. Clinics and day events focus on skill-based progression so that you can develop and enhance your rock climbing, golf, putt-putt skills and more. You will gain the ability to safely engage in these activities while learning about terminology and tips so that you can reach your full potential.
