    Who needs to complete?

    • New first-year students
    • Freshmen with transfer credit
    • Dual Enrollment students
    • Transfer students
    • Post-baccalaureate students
    • Auditing students

    Students who are not required to complete the program may also access the courses and information.

    Completed training at another institution?

    Students who have completed AlcoholEdu® for College, Haven – Understanding Sexual Assault™ / Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates, or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Students at another college will be required to complete the training again as a GGC student. Students should follow the steps to create an EverFi account and complete training.

    Course length?

    • 1.5 hours for AlcoholEdu® for College
    • 1 hour for Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates
    • 1.5 hours for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Students

    Privacy considerations?

    The courses may include surveys to help personalize your experience and measure students’ attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students’ answers.

    Technical Issues?

    If you experience a technical issue, use the "help" button directly from your EverFi dashboard, 24 hours a day. You may also call the EverFi 24/7 Helpline at 1.866.384.9062.

    Need Tips?

    • You will need Internet access and audio capabilities. You may use the GGC Library resources.
    • To avoid technical issues, please use a web browser released within the previous two years. Firefox or Google Chrome are recommended.
    • You may take the course in multiple sittings.
    • The course may include surveys to help personalize your experience and measure students’ attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students’ answers.
    • Should you experience problems, technical support is available 24/7 and can be accessed from the “Help” link within the course.

    Failed the exam in a course?

    You must receive a minimum score of 70% on the exam in all three courses in order to complete the health and safety training. Multiple attempts are allowed until you score at least 70% correct.

    Deadline passed?

    Students who miss the deadline will have a registration hold placed on their account. You may not register for and/or drop classes until the health and safety training is completed in full and the hold is lifted.

    Hold removal?

    Holds are processed and released within three business days after completing Part 1 for AlcoholEdu® for College, Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Holds cannot be temporarily released to register for classes, drop classes, to withdraw from GGC, or to order transcripts. Completion of the training is required.

    Email needs to be updated?

    Your GGC email address is required. If you registered your EverFi account or completed the health and safety training using an email address other than your assigned GGC email, your hold removal will not be processed. Follow the steps below to update your email address:

    1. Log in at https://platform.everfi.net/registration/login with the email address and password you previously created.
    2. Click on the “Welcome, (your name)” greeting at the top right hand side of the screen.
    3. Select “My Profile.”
    4. Select “Edit Personal Information.”
    5. Change your email address to your assigned GGC email address.
    6. Select “Save.”

    Proof of completion needed for health and safety training?

    Students may view and print their records for the AlcoholEdu® for College, Haven – Understanding Sexual Assault™ / Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Students by logging into their EverFi account and selecting the “Course Progress” box featured on all courses. This report will display the completion date of each module and all quiz/test scores.
