Emergency Management and Safety
Emergency management and safety in the School of Science and Technology (SST) is of the utmost importance and the highest priority activity in the School. All faculty, staff and students must endeavor to create a safe environment and, as such, are charged with always acting responsibly and reporting emergency and safety concerns to the Associate Dean.
Emergency Management
The SST Emergency Management Plan considers manmade and naturally occurring events that require emergency action by personnel in and around Building A. Example events could range from violent anti-government protesters to severe weather. The GGC Chief of Public Safety has appointed the SST Associate Dean as the Building A Emergency Director and has approved the Building A Emergency Management Plan, which is published on the SST internal web page.
