As part of the ongoing "Unbuttoning the Declaration @ 250" series hosted by the Department of History and Geography celebrating the semiquincentennial of the Declaration of Independence, this event includes Dr. Gunther's HIST 3112 (Revolutionary America) students and will also be advertised as part of the Gender Studies Annual Travel Series.

Using such primary sources as Abigail Adams’s “Remember the Ladies” letter (written 250 years ago in March 1776), we will explore the variety of women’s contributions to patriot resistance and the war effort while tackling the question of how revolutionary the American Revolution was for women.
