In this hands-on introductory workshop in the Center for Teaching Excellence’s (CTE) Faculty Instructional Design Lab, we will explore the fundamentals of generative AI and practice using tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to brainstorm ideas, summarize articles, draft assignments, create rubrics, design learning activities and streamline everyday tasks. No prior experience required – just a willingness to experiment. You will leave with practical strategies you can use right away.
