Join Information Technology for a workshop presented by our LinkedIn Learning Manager, Jenny O'Malley.
Discover how LinkedIn Learning (LiL) can be a powerful tool for designing learning environments that foster meaningful participation and academic success. In this session, we’ll demonstrate how LiL supports diverse learning needs through:
- Multiple Learning Modalities: Engage learners with audio, video, transcripts, and a mobile app for flexible access.
- Self-Paced Learning: Empower students to learn asynchronously—speed up, slow down, or revisit content as needed.
- Micro-Learning Opportunities: Leverage nano-tip courses for just-in-time learning and skill reinforcement.
- Differentiated Instruction: Support remediation and extension with hands-on practice, machine-translated and native language courses.
We’ll also highlight how students can showcase their achievements by adding LiL certificates to their LinkedIn profiles to boost visibility and employability in today's competitive job market, and how faculty can use LiL for their own growth—enhancing teaching practices, staying current in their fields, and building in-demand digital skills.
Finally, we will demonstrate how to add LiL courses and videos through MyCourses.
