Dr. Umar M. Khokhar, assistant professor of information technology, Dr. Binh Tran, assistant professor of information technology, and Dr. Hongsik Choi, associate professor of information technology, co-authored a recently published article titled, “A Review of Ultralightweight Mutual Authentication Protocols” in the International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, vol.14, no. 4, 2020. The authors present a detailed overview of some ultralightweight mutual authentication protocols (UMAPs) and discuss various types of security attacks on them.
