The Internationalization Committee invites Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) faculty members to apply for an award of excellence in internationalization. The award recognizes a faculty member who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to promoting cross-cultural learning and engagement inside and outside the classroom.
Applications comprise a maximum of a two-page, single-spaced cover letter and a portfolio to include no more than five pages of supporting materials. All materials must be submitted to Internationalization at internationalization [at] ggc.edu (internationalization[at]ggc[dot]edu) no later than Wedneday, Oct. 1.
The 2025 award will be presented during International Education Week at the Nov. 12 Thanksgiving Feast and Study Abroad Fair.
Selection criteria
The applicant demonstrates an excellent record of advocating for internationalization in their work.
The applicant promotes cross-cultural learning on campus.
The applicant uses their creative talents to help other GGC faculty/staff members to engage in intercultural learning activities.
The applicant contributes significantly to preparing students to be global citizens.
The applicant’s involvement in intercultural learning clearly distinguishes their leadership.
