Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is excited to announce the launch of a new and improved campus card for faculty and staff. This upgraded credential is designed to provide enhanced security, greater convenience and a more seamless experience across campus.
Developed in partnership with Auxiliary Services, Information Technology and Public Safety, the new card maintains all the functions you rely on, including identification, building and office access, dining plans and funds, library resources, and event entry while incorporating updated technology that prepares GGC for future integrations like mobile credentials, biometrics and contactless access.
Students’ campus cards will change directly to mobile credentials, and they will receive a separate communication detailing those changes.
“We’re modernizing how we move and work across campus,” said Victoria Ruzeski, director of Auxiliary Services. “The new card enhances access and supports our long-term technology and access strategy.”
What to expect
In the coming weeks, all employees will receive detailed instructions for card pickup.
During distribution, you will be able to:
- Confirm your current access to buildings and systems
- Learn about new features and upcoming technology enhancements
