Georgia Gwinnett College’s (GGC) second Four Pillars Scholarship Gala will take place at The Convocation Center Friday, March 20, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m. This year, the gala will help raise funds for the GGC Student Emergency Fund. Faculty and staff volunteers are needed to help run everything smoothly.

Volunteer opportunities include event setup, take-down, check-in, check-out, ushering, speaker assistance and more. Volunteers will serve as “captains” working alongside student volunteers to carry out respective responsibilities while also helping to coordinate, support and guide them. The dress code for guests at the event is black-tie optional, so please plan to dress accordingly.

All volunteers will be required to attend at least one of the training sessions that will be offered in the upcoming weeks. There will be an opportunity to select one of the training sessions offered during the sign-up process. A final mandatory walkthrough will take place Wednesday, March 18, at 2 p.m., two days before the event.

If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up. Note that faculty and staff volunteer opportunities are marked as “Gala F/S.” When prompted, use the code GGCFSVolunteer to sign up for your preferred role. While each role has outlined responsibilities, some duties may adjust as needed to support the overall success of the event.

All volunteers will receive a meal that will be provided in the Overlook Room at The Convocation Center.

Thank you for your support in making this event a success and helping to advance opportunities that directly support our students!
