Biography

Dr. David Johnson has over 21 years’ experience in the IT industry working in both private and public sectors in technical and managerial roles. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology-security in 2012 and a Master of Science degree in information security and assurance in 2013, both from Western Governors University. In 2017, he completed a Doctor of Information Technology degree from Walden University. 

In addition, Dr. Johnson has earned many IT certifications during his career including: 

  • ITIL foundations in IT service management
  • Cisco certified network associate-security
  • Cisco certified network professional
  • Cisco certified network associate
  • CNSS information systems security professional, NSTISSI 4011 & CNSSI 4012, 2013
  • GIAC certified ISO-27000 specialist (G2700)
  • EC Council computer hacking forensic investigator

  • CIW professional (including JavaScript specialist, web design specialist, web foundations associate, database design specialist)
