Dr. Nancy Camp is a faculty member in the School of Health Sciences. Prior to coming to GGC, she was a faculty member in the School of Nursing at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. She has taught nursing at the college level in Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois and Georgia. Camp has more than 30 years of experience in various settings including hospitals, school health and nursing education. She has an interest in adolescent health promotion and completed her dissertation entitled "Restoring Trust: A Grounded Theory Study of Cyberbullying among Young Women" from Loyola University Chicago in 2016. She has co-authored "Nursing Documentation: A Nursing Process Approach," and "Patient Outcomes in Medical-Surgical Nursing," both published by Mosby. Camp is the simulation lead for the School of Health Sciences and works to incorporate simulated patient experiences across the nursing curriculum.
