Join the Center for Teaching Excellence Thursday, Sept. 11, for an online professional development session on “Regular and Substantive Interaction” (RSI). RSI is a federal requirement for distance education, outlined by the Education department, that ensures meaningful instructor-student engagement in online courses. This session will break down the requirements, share a simplified RSI checklist and highlight best practices you can apply in your own teaching.
Facilitator: Dr. Josh Morris, professor of chemistry and biochemistry and CTE faculty fellow for online teaching and learning.
