ACCUPLACER* placement testing takes place during the week (Monday – Friday) and the second Saturday of each month.
When you arrive on testing day, make sure to bring a picture ID and, for students who have applied to GGC, have your student ID number. With the exception of WritePlacer®, the exam is not timed, but plan on spending, at least, three hours completing the test prior to the Testing Service' closing time.
The fee for the placement exam is $20 for GGC applicants; $50 for non-GGC applicants and $20 for re-takes. Use the online payment option or visit Testing Services, located in Building D, Suite 1301.
GGC accepts the following credit cards, in your name only, and you must have the card with you: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Other forms of payment include debit cards or a money order payable to Georgia Gwinnett College. GGC does not accept personal checks or cash for testing.
Register to take the ACCUPLACER* placement test.
*Note: GGC will continue to accept classic ACCUPLACER scores until Jan. 31, 2020.
There are no changes to the WritePlacer® exam or scoring.
