Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) recognized 3,150 students for outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2026 semester by naming them to the President’s List or Dean’s List. The honorees primarily hail from Gwinnett County, but also represent 18 additional states, Puerto Rico and five countries.

“Our students prove every day that they’re capable of achieving extraordinary academic success,” said Dr. Jann L. Joseph, GGC president. “We are proud to recognize their dedication, perseverance and commitment to excellence.”

With a total enrollment of more than 12,700 students, nearly 25% of them were named to either the President’s or Dean’s lists.

To be named to the President’s List, undergraduate students must complete 12 or more semester hours and earn a perfect 4.0 semester grade point average. For this semester, 1,252 students earned this distinction.

To be named to the Dean’s List, undergraduate students must complete 12 or more semester hours and earn an average grade point average of 3.6 or higher. This semester, 1,898 students earned this honor.
