Georgia Gwinnett College’s (GGC) campus came alive this morning as students began the fall semester. Officials say that preliminary enrollment numbers are trending upward compared to this time last year.

Resident students had already moved into their rooms on campus in previous days, and most commuter students were busy buying books in the bookstore or locating their classrooms.

Over the next few weeks, the college will greet new and returning Grizzlies during the college’s Grizzly Welcome 2023, a 10-day series of events and festivities. This includes the college’s inaugural first-year student convocation, a student involvement fair and service events across campus.
