As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, one thing is clear: the nation has come a long way since its founding. To explore that remarkable journey, Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is bringing together five faculty experts for a new video series examining how American life has evolved over the past two and a half centuries.
The limited series debuts June 15 across GGC’s social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Additional episodes will be released June 18, 22, 25 and 29, with a special finale premiering July 3.
In a series of 60- and 90-second videos, GGC experts highlight the transformation of music, taxation, education, technology and nursing from the nation's earliest days to today. The final episode brings all five experts together to discuss what the future may hold.
Through insightful commentary and historical perspective, the series offers viewers a fresh look at the innovations, ideas and professions that have helped shape the American experience over 250 years.
