Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) has selected Antrameka Knight as Vice President for Business and Finance and Chief Business Officer following a competitive search, effective July 1, 2026, announced GGC president Dr. Jann L. Joseph.
“Antrameka Knight brings a deep understanding of higher education finance, a collaborative leadership style and a strong commitment to institutional excellence,” said Joseph. “Her extensive experience in strategic budgeting and operational planning will be instrumental as Georgia Gwinnett College continues to grow and advance opportunities for student success. We are excited to welcome her to the GGC community.”
Knight’s professional experience spans leadership roles in higher education and government finance, including positions with Kennesaw State University, DeKalb County Government and the City of Atlanta.
She brings extensive expertise in financial planning, organizational effectiveness, capital operations and collaborative leadership. In addition, she serves on the Board of the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers (SACUBO).
Throughout her career, Knight has demonstrated an exceptional ability to align financial stewardship with student success, operational effectiveness and long-term strategic growth.
She earned her master of business administration from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College.
Prior to joining GGC, Knight was the associate vice president for Budget and Fiscal Planning at Kennesaw State University, where she oversaw a multi-stream revenue budget of approximately $889 million and provided leadership for strategic budgeting, capital planning, financial operations, analytics and institutional planning.
