Alice Stone Collins, assistant professor of art, painted two bridge murals (PDF), “Ripple” and “Dusk to Dawn,” as part of The Alpha Loop in Alpharetta. Collins’ work is part of the project’s goal to enhance visual vibrancy of the city’s parks and trails.

The Alpha Loop is a network of multi-use trails designed to connect key activity centers and enhance walkability within the city. It aims to improve connectivity among Avalon, downtown Alpharetta, the North Point Eco District, and Northwinds. The loop features 12-foot wide paths for walking and biking, with scenic views and public art installations.
