Dear GGC Community,

Each Tuesday, I use this message to share moments that reflect the ongoing work and engagement of Georgia Gwinnett College — both on campus and throughout our community.

Recently, I had the honor of participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new North Tower at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in my role as a member of the Gwinnett Hospital Authority.

The new North Tower represents a significant investment in expanded health care capacity, advanced technology and enhanced patient care for our growing community. Through service on the authority, I support health care governance and advance strategic partnerships that directly impact the health and well-being of Gwinnett County.

This milestone also reflects the strong connection between education, health care and community development. As Georgia Gwinnett College continues to expand pathways and partnerships in health sciences and nursing, it is important that we remain engaged in conversations shaping the future of health care in our region.

Representation in spaces like these ensures that GGC’s voice, mission and commitment to student success are part of the broader dialogue that strengthens our community. I am proud to serve in ways that connect our college to the institutions and partnerships that help Gwinnett County thrive.

Thank you for your commitment to the important work we do together each day to advance our mission and strengthen the communities we serve. It is through our collective leadership, partnership and passion that GGC continues to make an impact — both on campus and beyond.

Warm regards,
Dr. Jann L. Joseph
President, Georgia Gwinnett College
