Dear GGC Community,
Each Tuesday, I look forward to sharing a brief message that highlights the people, progress and priorities shaping Georgia Gwinnett College. It’s an opportunity to stay connected and recognize the collective work that moves our campus forward.
This week, I want to reflect on the Spring Campus Update held this past Friday, which focused on two foundational areas of our institution: Enrollment Management and Business & Finance. Thank you to those of you who were able to join us — your time, engagement and interest in these conversations are greatly appreciated.
Kimberly Jordan, Vice President for Enrollment Management, shared encouraging news about our enrollment momentum, including positive trends, demographic insights about who our students are and key accomplishments that reflect strong collaboration across the campus. Her update underscored how intentional outreach, student-centered practices and cross-unit partnerships continue to support access and student success.
Wanda Aldridge, Interim Vice President for Business & Finance, provided a clear and helpful overview of how the College is funded and how strong, sustained enrollment positively impacts our budget. Her presentation reinforced an important message: enrollment and fiscal stewardship are deeply connected, and together they contribute to the overall strength, stability, and sustainability of the College.
Taken together, these updates affirm that Georgia Gwinnett College is on solid footing — in enrollment and financial stewardship — and that our collective efforts are contributing to the College’s continued strength and sustainability.
The presentations from Friday’s Spring Campus Update will be shared with the campus on Wednesday, Feb. 11, via InsideGGC. I encourage you to review them to stay informed about these important areas of the College.
Thank you for the dedication and care you bring to our campus community each day. It is because of your work that Georgia Gwinnett College continues to thrive and I look forward to staying connected through these Tuesday updates.
Warm regards,
Dr. Jann L. Joseph
President, Georgia Gwinnett College
