Dear GGC Community,
I am pleased to share that Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) has successfully concluded the search for our next vice president for Business and Finance and chief business officer. Following a highly competitive search process, Antrameka Knight has accepted the position and will join the GGC community in this important leadership role.
Antrameka currently serves as associate vice president for Budget and Fiscal Planning at Kennesaw State University, where she oversees a multistream revenue budget of approximately $889 million and provides leadership for strategic budgeting, capital planning, financial operations, analytics and institutional planning. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an exceptional ability to align financial stewardship with student success, operational effectiveness and long-term strategic growth.
Her professional experience spans leadership roles in higher education and government finance, including positions with Kennesaw State University, DeKalb County Government and the City of Atlanta. She brings extensive expertise in financial planning, organizational effectiveness, capital operations and collaborative leadership. In addition, she serves on the board of the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers.
Antrameka holds an MBA from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College.
To support a smooth transition, Antrameka will serve in a dual-appointment capacity through June 30 while completing responsibilities at Kennesaw State University. Beginning July 1, she will join Georgia Gwinnett College full time.
Please join me in welcoming Antrameka to GGC. I am confident her leadership, expertise and collaborative approach will serve the college exceptionally well as we continue advancing our mission and supporting student success.
