Biography
Dr. Danni Bian is an assistant professor of legal studies at Georgia Gwinnett College. She earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond, an M.S. in digital audience strategy from Arizona State University, and both an M.B.A. and a B.S.B.A. from the University of Missouri. She is a dual-licensed attorney admitted in Georgia and the District of Columbia.
Prior to entering academia, Bian worked in both government and private practice, including experience with a government attorney’s office and litigation matters in state and federal courts. She has also engaged in pro bono work aimed at expanding access to legal services for underserved communities.
Her research agenda focuses on business law and regulation. Her scholarship examines corporate governance, compliance and risk management, and the legal environment of business, with particular attention to ethical decision-making and professional responsibility.
