Dr. Md Mahmoodur Rahman

Dr. Md Mahmoodur Rahman is a research associate II at Georgia Gwinnett College specializing in institutional research, data analytics, assessment and institutional effectiveness. He has more than 10 years of progressive experience in higher education across institutional research, student services, academic operations, admissions, testing administration and technology support within Georgia’s postsecondary education system.

Prior to joining Georgia Gwinnett College, Rahman served in multiple roles at Gwinnett Technical College, including admissions assistant, testing support specialist and technology support specialist. Through these roles, he gained extensive experience supporting student services, academic operations, enterprise systems, assessment processes and institutional reporting in technical college environments.

Rahman’s professional interests include institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, accreditation support, student success analytics and data-informed decision-making. He works extensively with Power BI, SAS, SPSS, SQL, Banner, Acalog and Cognos Analytics to support institutional planning, assessment and continuous improvement initiatives across the college.
