Noreen Ocampo

Noreen Ocampo is an advisor and mentor with a background in writing, teaching and literature. While earning her master's degree, she served as a teaching assistant and instructor of creative writing and first-year writing courses, and during her own time in college, she worked with fellow students as a writing tutor. Thanks to these experiences, Ocampo developed a passion for working with students of all backgrounds and equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to make the most of their college careers. She believes in approaching mentorship with a spirit of collaboration and curiosity.

Outside of her role at the Student Success Advising Center, Ocampo is at work on a book of poems about food, family and Filipino American experiences in the South.
