About
Biography
Yuan Butler earned her MFA in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, including at Coca-Cola Headquarter, Marietta Cobb Art Museum, Shug Gallery in UK, Huifeng Art Museum in Shanghai China, and solo exhibition at Mason Fine Art. She has been recognized and featured in renowned New American Paintings and Create! Magazine. Butler was awarded residency at SCAD as Presidential Alumni Atelier Ambassador in 2025. She also received Award for Excellence by a part-time faculty in School of Liberal Arts at Georgia Gwinnett College, the Cecile Adler Cliffer Memorial Cutting-Edge Award from National Association of Women Artists, among other honors and awards.
