About
Biography
Yuan Butler earned her MFA in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and has exhibited her work regionally and nationally, including at Coca-Cola Headquarter, Marietta Cobb Art Museum and solo exhibition at Mason Fine Art. She has been recognized and featured in New American Paintings, Create! Magazine, and I Like your Work podcast. Butler was awarded residency at SCAD as Presidential Alumni Atelier Ambassador. She also received the Cecile Adler Cliffer Memorial Cutting-Edge Award from National Association of Women Artists, among other honors and awards. Butler’s academic interests include modern art and feminism, psychology and color theory.
