Academic Assessment and Accreditation will host five professional development opportunities in October and November. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Oct. 2, 12-1 p.m., B-2400: Data Tools for Assessment

Academic Assessment and Accreditation will give an overview of the Integrated Educational Experience Core Curriculum Data Analytics hub and will discuss some of the reports available for supporting and enhancing learning outcomes assessment across the college. This is part of the Academic Assessment and Accreditation “Do you want to know more (about assessment and accreditation)?” discussion series.

Oct. 9, 2-3 p.m., Cisco Auditorium: State of Collegewide Assessment

Assistant Provost Tom Lilly will share several of last year’s important innovations, findings and changes to the college’s core curriculum assessment model. This is part of the annual Academic and Student Affairs faculty professional development series.

Oct. 14, 12-1 p.m., B-2400: Assessment and Accreditation – Foundations, Expectations, and Opportunities

Academic Assessment and Accreditation will discuss compliance foundations for program and general education assessment and requirements and opportunities for effective evaluation of academic programs and administrative units. This is part of the Academic Assessment and Accreditation “Do you want to know more (about assessment and accreditation)?” discussion series.

Oct. 30, 12-1 p.m., B-2400: Data Analytics for Academic Program Assessment

Academic Assessment and Accreditation will provide a dive into three evaluation reports on academic unit assessment effectiveness and consider opportunities for leveraging the data to seek resources to grow curriculum and identify resource needs. Nov. 13, 12-1 p.m., B-2400: Preview of Coming (accreditation?) Attractions: Changes to the Compliance Landscape

Academic Assessment and Accreditation will discuss potential future changes to institutional accreditation. This is part of the Academic Assessment and Accreditation “Do you want to know more (about assessment and accreditation)?” discussion series.
