The Academic Assessment and Accreditation office is seeking applicants for one fellowship to support assessment operations and initiatives that occur during the summer interim session.
Responsibilities
Academic Assessment and Accreditation Innovation Fellows advance strategic and ongoing administrative, faculty development, research and assessment quality initiatives.
During the summer session, fellows participate in the annual evaluation and analysis of assessment model effectiveness. Fellows learn the process of evaluating program assessment models, participate in interrater reliability training and norming, and work in the Strategic Planning Online system to evaluate program assessment quality.

May 26-June 30, 2026
Compensation
Summer term: The stipend is $1,875 for 20 hours of administrative service from May 26-June 30.
Qualified candidates
All full time nonvisiting Georgia Gwinnett College instructional faculty may serve as fellows. Candidates must have the written endorsement of their department chair and dean before applying.

- A letter of introduction indicating their interest and experience in assessment and description of their vision for how their work as a fellow would forward the strategic objectives of the Academic Assessment and Accreditation office
- Curriculum vitae
- Brief statement of endorsement from department chair and school dean
Selection process
By May 11, applicants should submit all required materials to the co-chairs of the Academic Assessment Advisory Committee, acampbell33 [at] ggc.edu (Dr. Andrea Campbell), associate professor of film, and ukhokhar [at] ggc.edu (Dr. Umar Khokhar), associate professor of information technology. The committee will review complete applications and recommend candidates to the director of Academic Assessment for final consideration.
