The search for the next Chancellor continues to move forward, with several key milestones achieved and additional opportunities for stakeholder engagement forthcoming. The Chancellor search website is now live and will serve as the primary source for information, updates and opportunities for engagement throughout the search.
Planning is also underway for a series of listening sessions across USG. So far, the following have been confirmed, but please continue to check the webpage for further details.
Monday, July 27
Where: Middle Georgia State University
When: Noon to 2 p.m.
Campus Location: Teacher Education Building (TEB) 231.
TEB is building number 9 on the MGA Macon Campus Map (PDF). There is ample parking in front of the entrance.
Monday, Aug. 3
Where: Georgia Southern University, Armstrong Campus
When: 1 to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 4
Where: Georgia State University
When: 1 to 3 p.m.
Campus Location: Centennial Hall Auditorium, 100 Auburn Ave. N, Atlanta, GA 30303
Parking will be in the W Lot, which is adjacent to Centennial Hall. Guests should use the entrance from Courtland Street.
In the meantime, broad engagement is vital to the success of the search process. Everyone is encouraged to provide feedback, nominate candidates and share the opportunity within their professional networks to help identify a strong candidate pool.
