Friday, Jan. 16 MLK keynote with Monique Coleman

Georgia Gwinnett College will host the Martin Luther King Jr. Day keynote address Friday, Jan. 16, featuring Monique Coleman, an award-winning actress, activist and humanitarian best known for her role as Taylor McKessie in Disney’s High School Musical.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and community guests are invited to attend this year’s MLK keynote address, “Illuminating the Dream: Using Your Gifts to Uplift Others,” to honor King’s legacy by recognizing their own talents as tools for service and justice.

The program emphasizes that everyone has a role in creating positive change and demonstrates how reflection can lead to purposeful action.
