The Student Government Association (SGA) invites faculty and staff to volunteer at its annual Ask-Me Booths on Aug. 10 and 11.
During the first days of the semester, volunteers staff Ask-Me Booths across campus to answer questions, provide directions and connect students with campus resources. A friendly smile and helpful guidance can make a lasting first impression.
This year, SGA is expanding the program and welcomes volunteers from across the GGC community to help greet students and showcase the college's welcoming spirit.
Dates: Aug. 10 and 11
Time Commitments: One-hour shifts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts!)
Locations: Student Center Plaza, Building B parking lot, A and H crosswalk
Supplies: Information binders and water at each booth
