GGC's Dr. Michael Gagnon receives GHRAC Award for Excellence in Documenting Georgia's History

Dr. Michael Gagnon, professor of history, received a Georgia Historical Records Advisory Council (GHRAC) Award for Excellence in Documenting Georgia's History for his co-editing work on the publication, "Gwinnett County, Georgia, and the Transformation of the American South, 1818-2018." GGC contributors to this edited collection of scholarly essays included Gagnon and fellow GGC history faculty Dr. Carey Shellman, associate professor, Dr. David Mason, professor and Dr. Richard Cook Jr., assistant professor, as well as Katheryn L. Nikolich, ’13, history.
