Beginning Fall 2026, GGC moves to a single, streamlined Early Alert Progress Report with one window, one workflow and a clearer path from your observation to a student's support.

Join the Academic Enhancement Center for a 60-minute live session covering what's changed, who's in scope and what actually happens after you click submit. You'll see a step-by-step walkthrough of EAB Navigate, learn how to write comments that give academic coaches something to work with and find out how to alert on any student in any course.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Explain how faculty alerts contribute to early identification of academic risk and to GGC's student retention and success goals.
  • Identify the student populations and courses targeted by the Early Alert Progress Report, and recognize the Weeks 3–8 submission window and the indicators that warrant an alert.
  • Trace the lifecycle of an alert from submission through routing, intervention, escalation, and closure — including how GROW students and all other students follow different paths.
  • Compose specific, actionable alert comments using the WHAT + WHEN + CONTEXT formula, while keeping observations factual and course-related.
  • Submit an ad hoc alert in EAB Navigate for any student at any time, independent of the Progress Report.

Register in advance.
