Description
A vehicle travelling northbound on Collins Hill Road was stopped at the intersection with University Center Lane. While stopped the vehicle ignited into flames. GCFD Station 31 was notified and responded to put out the fire. No injuries were reported.

Fire alarm was activated by a small child (juvenile) in the Student Center. Public Safety responded. The building was evacuated. Once the alarm was determined to be false, people were allowed back into the building and the alarm was reset.

Description
Report of a car fire in the 1000 parking lot. Non-student pulled into the 1000 parking lot after detecting the smoke odor. After parking, he opened his engine compartment and it burst into flames. GCFD Station 31 responded to the scene and put out the fire. No injuries reported.

Description
Officers responded to the 2000 dormitory for a fire alarm. The building was evacuated as GCFD Station 31 firefighters entered the building. They determined the origin of the alarm was an overloaded washing machine in the 1st floor laundry room. The alarm was cleared and notice was given to the residents to return to the building.
