Grizzlies Helping Grizzlies: Supporting Student Success in Times of Need
At Georgia Gwinnett College, we know that life doesn’t pause for college. When unexpected challenges arise, the Student Emergency Fund helps ensure that financial hardships don’t stand in the way of a student’s education.
As part of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (Nov. 11–14), this campaign calls on our campus community to come together in support of students facing food and housing insecurity. Since 2023, the fund has provided more than $93,000 in direct assistance to over 200 students, helping cover essential needs like rent, utilities, transportation and food.
Your contribution helps bridge the gap between crisis and stability — connecting students to the resources and hope they need to stay enrolled and succeed.
