    Examine society’s responses to crimes and offenders, and explore the factors that influence criminal and deviant behavioral development. 

    The bachelor's degree in criminal justice / criminology explores components of the criminal justice system, and analyzes the societal and behavioral influences of deviant behavior. Focused topics include management, law, policing, corrections, and the theoretical foundation for criminal behavior and specific criminal behavior (criminal violence, organized crime, gangs, juvenile delinquency, white collar crime and cybercrime).
